I'm determined if nothing else! Yes I know the weather has been pants so far but it CANNOT LAST. Surely it's got to get better so I'm going to keep going with a few more picks of the latest accessories for the coming weeks. While I don't encourage shopping to cheer ourselves up you'd be forgiven for doing that lately (as I type looking out at the rain). You asked for some suggestions for the latest accessories to help spruce up your outfits and style this summer.
You'll see I've chosen some quite colourful, bright options but also some more demure, classic pieces to cater for a variety of options, tastes and outfits. Similarly there is a variety of budgets catered for here - I've mainly gone for high street but there are a couple of more spendy pieces. As before, all images are clickable if you'd like to see more details.
So here goes - let's dream of warmer weather...
As you might have noticed from my last blog I've really enjoyed Boden's offerings recently and I really like this style of handbag which is also available in other colours and patterns. It is pricey at £250 (currently 15% off) but it's quite a timeless style so if it fits with your style I think you would have it for years.
Oliver Bonas have some gorgeous sunglasses at the moment. It's no secret that I love green so these instantly popped out at me - the fun design will add a great bit of interest to your look.
These sunnies are great if you've a warm skin tone - the golden sparkle will really complement your complexion. They'll add a great touch of glamour to any outfit.
I've chosen something a bit more subtle here (but only slightly given the tortoiseshell!). These frames are made with recycled polycarbonate. You could pair these with a leopard print belt or handbag to bring an outfit together quite simply.
There are lots of visor hats about at the moment. Great for keeping your face protected from those harmful UV rays. But personally I also like to have my scalp covered so that doesn't burn either. However I do love a scallop detail so couldn't resist including this one here.
Layering of necklaces is still very much visible and a great way to elevate a look. I really like the chunkiness of the smaller necklace here but I also included it as a reminder that you may already have 2 or 3 necklaces in your jewellery box which could be worn this way You might already have this!
When I was set this mission by you, I went on the hunt for hats and I was really impressed by the selection and quality of hats in FatFace. I love the subtlety of this dusky pink fedora. It would look great alongside a number of colours - khaki green, grey, navy...
Without further ado, here are the rest of my summer accessories picks:
Plenty of summer accessories there to whet your appetite - now we just need the weather to play ball. I hope you've some time off over the summer planned so that you can get a well deserved rest and recharge the batteries. Have fun whatever you're doing, try to switch off and wear the bikini!
