Chic Knitwear to Keep you Stylish and Warm

Lou Lawton
As you'll know by now, I'm always cold. I'm just a cold creature. As I write this, I'm wearing an Aran knit - and am toasty as! For this reason, I am very partial to a cosy knit. There's something so tactile about a gorgeous knit and thankfully it is now also possible to look stylish and chic rather than an extra from Banshees of Inisherin. It's easy to elevate your style by incorporating a great colour or pattern or with the gorgeous details on the item itself. You can reflect your style personality while feeling warm and cosy but still stylish. I know we're coming into the final weeks of December but let's face it, it's going to continue being cold for another few months so I feel this topic is still very appropriate.

So here some of my picks to get you thinking - I've included some accessories too, including a hat with satin lining for any curly girls out there to reduce your hair getting frizzy. Don't forget when wearing a cardigan or jumper it can be an opportunity to show a gorgeous collar or a lovely detail with a blouse sleeve peeking through. Bear that in mind with some of these pieces. Jewellery too can elevate your stylish knitwear so don't shy away from adding some pieces here and there.

Maybe by looking at these items you're reminded of things you already own which are sitting in the back of your wardrobe. Get them out! I'd always rather you wear what you already have than spending money unnecessarily. You might need to give them a little TLC by debobbling or giving them a little refresh. You can now see it is possible to look stylish and chic while still feeling cosy and warm. Win win! Stay warm and I'll speak to you soon.
